Gingham into Fall // Fashion

Can you guys believe it is almost the end of August?! INSANE. Summer always go by fast, but I feel like this Summer went pretty quick. We are in full “Football” mode over here at Casa De La Schmaderer and it is cray-zay-towwwwwn. Hubby is back to work full-time (he is a teacher) and he is also coaching football which means this Mama is riding solo until pretty much November. UGH! Any other coaches wives out there?!

Today’s post is all about transitioning to Fall with some Gingham. Gingham was pretty popular this Summer but I just could not get on board with it for a Summer look, but for Fall, I am totally a fan!

I always love a good off-the-shoulder top and I couldn’t resist this Gingham top with the bow-sleeve detail. It is from Nasty Gal, I have always been a big fan of their site and they usually have great weekend sales like 50% off sitewide. You can find their site here.

My engraved bar necklace is from Jays & Jewels. I have worn it everyday since Mother’s Day 2015. It has Noelia’s birthday engraved in roman numerals and it just means the world to me!

IN LOVE with these wide-leg linen pants from White House Black Market, they do not have many sizes left available so I have linked similar styles in my post below. I am starting to transition away from all skinny-leg denim and pants and go to a more flared look. I am on the hunt for a good pair of denim flares to wear with a good plaid button up and heeled booties for the Fall. If any of you ladies own a good pair, let me know!

I used to wear flared jeans and pants all the time in middle school and high school but then the trend changed to skinny and I am just now getting out of it. Funny how styles always come back!

Here is a pair of my pants in a more skinny version here. It is from FashionNova.

I am always sad to see Summer go and all the fun activities that come with it, but I am craving crisp Fall days with my family and Pumpkin Spice errryythangggg. I always love taking Noelia to a small local farm and picking up some cute pumpkins and some decorations for our home. This is our first Fall/Winter in our new house so I might go a little crazy with the Fall buying/decorating. Gotta keep myself busy while hubby is gone all the time right?! Expect to see some cute Fall looks on Vida Noel in the near future as well as ways to stay physically motivated during the colder months. If you are like me all you want to do is eat, eat, and eat some more when it is cold out ;).

Below I have linked similar styles and looks I love.
