Hey, Angels! How are we all doing out there? I hope safe and well. These current times sure are crazy but we are taking it one day at a time over here! We have now been in self-quarantine for about a month and everyone is still alive, ha! In all seriousness, I do love all this extra and unexpected family time. Today’s post is all about WFH Loungewear. I am sure you have been wearing your fair share of loungewear lately. It can be difficult to still want to get up and get ready for the day even though there isn’t much to “get ready” for. Cute loungewear sure does help! I am rounding up my favorite lounge sets and chatting with you all what has been on my heart these past few weeks!

When it comes to staying at home with ALL THE PEOPLE, setting a schedule is pertinent. The days where we accidentally sleep in or don’t stick to our normal work schedule, we all feel it. Brody and I strive to get our work for the day done during normal “9-5” hours so we can strive to rest and recoup once the girls are in bed for the night. My hardest struggle has been keeping Noelia on a schedule and still interested in watching her school videos online. Thankfully, Noelia has taken all the changes very well. I could not be more proud of her! She’s 4 years old but one of the strongest girls I have ever known. She understands people are sick and hurting and that we need to have patience before we can do all the fun things again. We had to cancel our trip to Arizona (which hurt me greatly) and I think that was the first time it really sunk in for her that we truly cant do what we want to. Thankfully, my little rockstar knows we will travel soon enough!
Another thing I find that is important while working from home is getting READY. It mentally tells yourself that you are ready and ALERT to take on the day, even if you never leave your house. I have my own little routine set now; I get up with Brody and Reina, make breakfast, feed both girls once Noelia is up, then get ready for the day myself. I always, ALWAYS do at least my makeup and change into a cute lounge set or a casual denim look. If I don’t have time to do my hair due to the girls I will throw on a hat but I try my best to do my hair, too.

What I also love about all these days at home is how it has challenged me to get more creative. There are only so many places in my home I can shoot content in. Some areas are nicely remodeled and others still have 18 year old oak (lets say a collective EWWW!). I would much rather shoot outside the home but now that I have no other choice but to stay in, I have definitely been trying to be more creative. I used to be so scared to post certain kinds of shots for the fear of bad engagement but I have really felt in my soul that now is the time to post WHAT I WANT without the fear of less likes. After all, I don’t want to be someone who chases likes, follows, and comments. I want my space to be, you know…ME.

Now is a great time to really self meditate on your goals and gain clarity on your life. Is the slowdown of our world just what we needed? Is God telling us something. I think so. I think He is up to something GREAT. Far greater than we could have ever imagined. Do you believe it? Stay tuned for a blog post on this topic. Stay cozy, my friends. We are all in this together. One fabulous day at home at a time!
